Askham Hall's popular Beaujolais Evening is set to return.

The Michelin-starred restaurant, which won the Taste of England Award in the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence this year, will host the event on Thursday, November 14.

Held in the Bank Barn, the evening will be led by maître d' and award-winning sommelier Nico Chieze.

Guests can enjoy free-flowing Beaujolais, French-style music, and a rustic three-course menu of French cuisine crafted by chef Richard Swale.

The dishes will feature produce from the hall's kitchen gardens and the Lowther family estate.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on October 1 and are expected to sell out quickly.
