DRIVERS are being warned of potential delays following a motorcycle crash on the A66 westbound, around Penrith.
The incident, near Greggs/Travelodge services, was reported at 9.10am (September 19).
The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) was on scene at 9.30am.
The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital to be treated for a potential shoulder injury.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "At this time, it appears to be a single-vehicle RTC – a motorcyclist has come off his bike."
According to Cumbria's AA traffic report, the road is partially blocked, causing slow traffic from the M6 J40 (Penrith) to A592 (Rheged roundabout).
Stagecoach has announced a diversion on their X5 service via Greystoke, with the service not serving Stainton, following the crash.
