A cyclist was taken to hospital with head and face injuries after an assault in Carlisle last night.
Cumbria police said they were contacted at 7.22pm yesterday (September 18) to a report of a man having been assaulted on Blunt Street, Denton Holme, Carlisle.
They said the victim, a cyclist, was assaulted by another man.
He was subsequently discharged from the hospital.
Police said they're keen to hear from anyone who witnesses or has any other information about this incident.
