A POPULAR comedian who starred in the TV show 'Benidorm' is set to perform in Cumbria.
Crissy Rock will be performing at the Old Fire Station in Carlisle.
The show will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
In a post on social media, the Old Fire Station said: "Best known for appearing on TV shows such as Benidorm, Crissy Rock is also known to her fans as one of the most outstanding and outrageous stand-up comedians of her generation.
"To celebrate 30 years after her film debut in Ken Loach’s Ladybird Ladybird in 1994, Crissy Rock is hitting the road with a brand new show of two halves.
"The first half ‘How did Christine Murray become Crissy Rock?’ – a ‘one woman’ play with funny anecdotes that will make you laugh, cry and fall in love.
"The second half of Crissy Rock’s world-famous stand up comedy show, which will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter."
