LG Well-being has announced the addition of three new instructors to its team.
The private gym, located in the heart of Carlisle, is expanding its team as it continues to grow and diversify its offerings.
Set in a building that dates back to 1857, initially serving as a dispensary for the poor, LG Well-being has turned this historic site into a modern fitness hub.
The gym provides a variety of training options in a personal, trainer-led setting, ensuring members receive individual attention without the worry of overcrowding.
As Carlisle’s only official HYROX training partner, LG Well-being offers group HYROX classes and training plans.
HYROX combines running with functional fitness and is one of the many classes available.
Other offerings include Barre, Boxfit, Bootcamp, and Pilates, as well as 1-1 and small group personal training.
Members have the flexibility to mix and match sessions to fit their weekly schedules.
The new team members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the gym.
Katie Rafferty, from Edinburgh, has over a decade of experience as a personal trainer, wellbeing coach, and group exercise instructor.
With a background in applied sport science, she has been running her own personal training business since 2014.
She will be teaching Boxfit, Bootcamp, and HYROX classes, along with her own 1-1 and small group personal training sessions.
Ms Rafferty is thrilled to join the LG Well-being community, praising the gym’s private, friendly, and safe environment.
Niamh Robson, with a degree in dance, has been teaching since 2021, focusing on special populations, including pre and post-natal women, older adults, and those with lower back pain.
She is excited to offer a variety of low-impact options to members and looks forward to participating in the gym’s HYROX simulation Saturdays.
Jen Elliott, the third instructor to join LG Well-being, will teach Bootcamp and small group personal training.
Having gone through her own fitness journey, she understands the challenges of prioritising personal health.
Ms Elliot aims to support clients in improving their relationship with food, learning effective training techniques, and staying accountable.
