Police have reminded residents to report any vehicles that they believe to be abandoned.
Abandoned vehicles or vehicles caused an 'unnecessary' obstruction can be removed by either the police or the local council.
The reminder comes after local officers from Copeland took an abandoned vehicle away over the weekend.

A spokesperson for Copeland Police said: "The vehicle which was reported as abandoned is now gone.
"Any vehicles identified as abandoned by police will be reported to the local council. Any vehicles causing an unnecessary obstruction will be removed by the police.
"Any member of public can report a vehicle they believed to be abandoned to the local council, or any vehicle causing an unnecessary obstruction to the police."
