UPCOMING band Welly are set to perform in Carlisle later this year.
Welly, which is made up of singer Welly and his school-mates, merge together escapist pop, indie-disco, punk and DIY electronics, and released their first single Shopping earlier this year.
Shopping is a riotous love-letter to the UK high street, as evocative of the arch, art-rock of Pulp as the left-field bangers of Girls Aloud.
Currently working as a greengrocer, Welly and his friends are building a name for themselves, with singles Me and Your Mates and Soak Up The Culture also proving popular on streaming services.
Welly will play at The Brickyard in Carlisle on Thursday, November 28. Tickets cost £8 and are available to buy online now.
