A Carlisle shopping centre has launched its new 'Sing to Win' school choir competition.
The Lanes Shopping Centre is encouraging school choirs from Carlisle and District to sign up for its new singing competition which is set to be launched on its website on Monday, September 30, and includes a £1,000 cash prize.
The Lanes is asking local schools to upload a video recording of their choir performing before the closing date of Friday, November 22 to be in with a chance of winning the 'Sing to Win' prize.
Members of the public will then have a chance to vote on which choir they would like to win on The Lanes' website when voting opens on Monday, November 25.
Voting will close on Friday, December 6 and the winner of the singing competition will be decided by the highest number of votes cast by the public on the website with the winning school choir announced on Monday, December 9.
