A Cumbrian Great British Bake Off star is set to hold a 'baking demonstration' near Penrith.
As the new series of Channel Four's baking competition gets underway, a former contestant, Abby Lawson from Tebay is set to host a demonstration at Maulds Meaburn Village Institute on Saturday, September 28.
Abbi Lawson from Tebay took part in season 14 of the popular television show in 2023.
As part of the series Abbi battled it out with 12 other 'star baker' hopefuls before being knocked out in the third week of the series - bread week.
The event will see the former bake-off star host a talk about local and foraged and include a tasting session.
Tickets for the event can be purchased on the door or can be obtained from Appleby Tourist Information.
