A CORONATION Street star visited West Cumbria this week.
Peter Gunn who plays Brian Packham in Coronation Street visited The Beacon in Whitehaven on Thursday, September 26.
Brian first appeared on the cobbles back in 2010 and currently resides at 12 Coronation Street.
He is described as the 'snobbish, intellectual' owner of The Kabin newsagents.
His other fictional job roles included being a head teacher and an environmental health officer for Weatherfield Council.
The character Brian Packham has appeared on over 600 episodes of the beloved British soap.

In a post on social media, The Beacon wrote: "Look who visited us this morning, Peter Gunn, or as you most likely know him, Brian Packham.
"We loved finding out what brought him here today, where he explained that he used to travel around Cumbria as a young lad with his dad selling lights, and he remembers Whitehaven rather well."
Gunn also appeared in the coming-of-age 2000s teen TV drama Skins and Hannah Montana: The Movie.
