CUMBRIA Police have made two arrests for drink and drug driving today, September 27.
A man from West Cumbria has been arrested as has another man from Carlisle.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "We arrested a 19-year-old from Workington after he failed a drugs wipe shortly after midnight in Maryport.
"And we arrested a 27-year-old from Carlisle after he failed a roadside breath test in Lillyhall, West Cumbria.
"The arrests are the latest during the current Op Spotlight Fatal Four road safety operation, particularly aimed at young drivers.
"The aim of the operation is to aims to highlight and tackle the Fatal Four - speeding, using a mobile phone at the wheel, not wearing a seatbelt, and driving under the influence of drink and/or drugs."
