A POPULAR sculpture will be leaving Carlisle Cathedral this week.
The sculpture was put in the cathedral as part of the Illuminated Sheep Art Trail.
The art trail runs along the route of Hadrian's Wall and features an array of illuminated sheep decorations.
The sculpture has been praised by staff and visitors at the cathedral.
In a post on social media, Carlisle Cathedral wrote: "Today we say baa-bye to Stella, our adopted member of the Illuminated Sheep flock.
"Stella has been with us for almost a month, and during this time has enjoyed welcoming worshippers and visitors, attended Little Stars toddler group each week, and explored the Historic Quarter of the city with her friends Ewenice, at Tullie, and Millie, at Cumbria's Museum of Military Life.
"Stella will now return to her flock, then go on the road again for more adventures in the North East."
