Train services in Cumbria have been cancelled due to a train breakdown.
It's affecting services between Carlisle and Whitehaven and the breakdown happened near Maryport, believed to have been caused by a brake failure.
Passengers, including football fans who were heading to Newcastle, or up to Carlisle to watch the match against Grimsby, were left stranded for over two hour and were being towed to Carlisle by another train, bypassing all stations.
Rail operator Northern confirmed that the line is blocked, causing disruptions in both directions.
