Carlisle-born author M.W. Craven is set to release the second book in his new Ben Koenig series.
Nobody’s Hero (named after a Stiff Little Fingers Song) will be released on October 10.
The novel follows the success of Fearless, which earned a spot on the longlist for the prestigious Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year award and demanded a reprint due to popularity.
Speaking to the News & Star previously, Mike hinted at a crossover between the world of his new Koenig series and his highly acclaimed Washington Poe novels.
"Steeleye Stan, who has a ball bearing for an eye, I brought him into the Poe series for Deadground as a bouncer on Botchergate - he makes an appearance in the upcoming Koenig book," the Sunday Times best-selling author said.
Nobody’s Hero will follow the former U.S. Marshal, as he embarks on a journey that spans from the cities of northern England to New York and Nevada.
For fans eager to get their hands on the new release, signed copies are available for pre-order from Bookends Carlisle.
Mike has offered to sign and personally dedicate books for readers. Those who order through the store can request specific messages during checkout.
This new release follows the return of Craven’s character Washington Poe in The Mercy Chair, which hit shelves earlier this year.
