Irish country music singer, Paul Kelly, is set to return to Rosley Village Hall.

The Donegal native will perform at the venue on Sunday, October 13.

Mr Kelly, 'a farmer, truck driver, and songwriter', has been passionate about music since childhood.

He said he has "been crazy about music all my life; my mother remembers me playing with her guitar when I was only very young."

Mr Kelly began his musical journey at the age of 12, playing in a two-piece band with his mother.

In his late teens, he joined a five-piece band, playing a variety of instruments.

He said: "I jumped at it.

"I was a jack of all trades, as I played keyboard, accordion and I also sang backing vocals.

"I began to feel more and more at home on stage."

Mr Kelly's love for country music is evident in his performances and he has several original songs to his name, including 'So in Love,' 'Cut the Grass,' 'On the Market,' and 'Hughies Oul Jeep.'

He also hosts his own TV show on Spotlight TV, 'Kelly Talks Country.'

Mr Kelly said: "This has received widespread recognition and has been a great opportunity to help promote new artists on the country scene."

Adele Egglestone, the organiser, said: "We’re looking forward to welcoming Paul and his five-piece band back following his sell-out show last year.

"Paul’s music attracts a lot of younger fans and everyone is welcome – I think the youngest last year was four years old."

Tickets for the show on October 13 are priced at £15 and must be purchased in advance.

The show starts at 8pm with doors open at 7pm.

The hall has a fully licensed bar and disabled facilities.
