Center Parcs is looking for more than 30 Christmas helpers.
The short-break operator is preparing for the festive season with a recruitment drive at its Whinfell Forest holiday village in Cumbria.
The company is seeking applications for a variety of part-time and full-time roles, including hospitality, maintenance, leisure, entertaining elves, and a team of Santas.
These roles will support a range of events and activities planned for the Christmas period.
Ailsa Higman, group resourcing manager at Center Parcs UK, said: "This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading leisure and hospitality brands and be part of a fun, friendly working environment which offers beautiful surroundings.
"Christmas is one of the year’s busiest periods at Center Parcs and we always ramp up the entertainment – this year, the festive programme at Whinfell Forest is bigger than ever, so we’re hiring in record numbers in 2024.
"While certain positions require experience, most roles require none - if you have enthusiasm and a passion for making every day an adventure, we'll provide the rest."
Center Parcs Whinfell Forest, situated on the edge of the Lake District, is one of the region’s largest employers with 1,550 staff members.
Around 700 new staff have been recruited in the past 12 months.
Ms Higman said: "Center Parcs take great pride in supporting the communities surrounding our holiday villages by offering varied employment opportunities.
"As a large employer with a supply chain of hundreds of businesses, and millions of guests visiting us each year, we offer an environment that is safe and supportive for our colleagues, guests and suppliers, with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusivity."
Staff at Whinfell Forest enjoy a range of benefits, including free or discounted access to a wide range of village amenities, including the pool and spa, as well as heavily discounted learning breaks at any one of the company’s six villages in the UK.
Candidates can find out more about current vacancies by calling the Whinfell Forest resourcing hub on 01768 893000.
Applications can also be submitted online.
