A Cumbrian family’s search for their beloved parrot has entered into its third month.
Django, who is a Galah parrot, escaped from Blencogo, Wigton on Saturday, August 3 with his worried owners Helen and Craig Wilson searching for him since then.
Helen and Craig have had Django since he was a chick and described how much he means to their family.
They said: "Django has been with us for 10 years.
"We have had him since he was a baby, he has a very strong bond with my children, especially Chloe, and we miss him very much.
"Django is a valued member of our family. Parrots see their humans as 'their flock' and he is the best companion any of us could wish for."
There has been a couple of potential sightings of Django at Laings Garden Centre in Carlisle and at Plumbland but they have not led to his return.
They said: "Django makes distinctive sounds. He shouts 'Pwiddy boy', 'Craig', 'Chloe', [he] quacks, makes appliance sounds and calls: 'It's tea time'.
"Django likes 80s music, loves to dance, and loves crisps."
Helen and Craig are offering a reward and anyone with information can contact them on 07814 159039.
