MAJOR roadworks are planned on London Road in October, according to Cumberland Council.
Cumberland Council will be carrying out carriageway improvement works on London Road between Eastern Way and Harraby Green Rd.
The council has warned ‘some delays may occur’ as part of the works.
Work will begin at 8am on Monday, October 7 and will end on Tuesday, October 15.
There will be an outbound one-way system in place during working hours, with access and junction entry restricted while works are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Cumberland Council said: "Traffic marshals will be on-site to assist with access to properties and businesses, but some delays may occur.
