POLICE in Penrith have seized an e-scooter after reports of road safety concerns.
Outside areas which are trialling e-scooters, the vehicles are only supposed to be ridden on private land.
Eden Police said they have received ‘numerous’ complaints about the use of e-scooters across the region.

A spokesperson for Eden Police said: ACC Blackwell and RPU Inspector Stabler were on patrol in Eden.
“After numerous complaints of unlawful use of e-scooters and road safety concerns, we have stopped and seized one from a rider in Penrith.
“These are unlawful to ride in non-trial areas.”
