A SELLAFIELD worker has sustained an injury to their finger following an accident on-site.
The contractor was taken to hospital following the incident but was able to return to work the next day.
The accident occurred in a building on the Sellafield site.

A Sellafield Ltd spokesman said: “A contractor suffered an injured finger while working in one of our buildings on the Sellafield site.
“The individual was taken to the Sellafield site surgery and later transferred to the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven.
“Following treatment, the injured person was released from hospital and returned to work the following day.”
