Police are investigating a racist public order offence, during which a group of male teenagers made 'racist sounds and gestures' towards a member of the public.

It was reported to have happened on September 11 at around 7.50pm outside Farmfoods, Shaddongate, Carlisle.

Police are appealing for any witnesses of the incident and for any information about the suspects involved.
