THE music lineup has been announced for the upcoming Taste Carlisle event.

The Taste festivals have been held across the county and have proved to be successful.

This November they will be coming to Carlisle with a whole host of live music on offer for visitors.

Russ Withey, the founder of RockWith, said: "The first ever Taste Carlisle event will be held on Saturday, November 2, and Sunday, November 3.

"We've again been asked to do the lineup for the event including a range of solo artists and acts from across Cumbria.

"There will be some very talented acts performing who will put on a good show and make this a superb event for the whole of Carlisle.

"We want everyone to come along to the event and then go off to watch the fireworks display in the city later on.

"Annie Jackson Elliott, Char, Miss Pearl, Chloe Jane Hurst, No Good Reason, The Other Sun, Red Handed Sirens, Sam Hesleworth, and Ged Hagan.

"We've got a real good mix of artists, including bands and solo musicians.

"I think this is something that will be good for Carlisle, it should be interesting because all of the other Taste events across Cumbria are huge.

"The events bring people in from across the county, and there are lovely food and craft stalls on offer.

"Along with all the talented people performing around the Cathedral grounds, it's going to be brilliant."
