SENIOR councillors are due to consider a proposed youth justice plan for the Cumberland area at a meeting in Carlisle next week.

Cumberland Council's executive committee are due to meet on Tuesday (October 15) at Cumbria House in Botchergate from 10.30am.

They will consider Cumberland Youth Justice Plan 2024 - 2025 and councillor Emma Williamson (Kells and Sandwith, Labour), the children's services, family wellbeing and housing portfolio holder will present the report.

It is recommended that members agree the report and refer it to the full council for final approval.
