NOMINATIONS are now open for the News & Star's 'Best Curry House 2024’ award.
In a bid to celebrate local curry houses in North and West Cumbria, the News & Star has launched its new competition which will crown the county's 'Best Curry House 2024'.
As part of the competition, News & Star readers can now nominate their favourite curry house from North and West Cumbria via an online voting platform.

Online nominations will run between Monday, October 14, and Sunday, October 20, with the ten finalists being revealed on Monday, October 28
Readers will then be able to vote for their 'Best Curry House 2024' by picking up editions of the News & Star between Monday, October 28, and Saturday, November 9, with the winner set to be announced on Monday, November 18.

Joy Yates, regional editor for Newsquest Cumbria, asked readers to support their favourite restaurant.
She said: "On the back of successful initiatives to find our readers’ favourite beauty salons, cafes and fish and chips shops, we are delighted to launch our search for your Best Curry House.

“Make sure you get your nominations in from Monday to recognise your special curry house."
