CUMBRIA Police have been monitoring speeding drivers in West Cumbria.
Officers have been at a hotspot near Whitehaven tackling the issue of speeding on Cumbrian roads.
The road can get particularly busy at peak times.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "After receiving complaints from locals about speeding at peak times in the area of Padstow/Galemire crossroads, officers have been out this afternoon with the speed gun.
"We are also liaising with highways about the traffic issues here, after witnessing first hand the volume of traffic using this road at peak times."
