A man in his 30s suffered a fractured eye socket after an unprovoked attack by two men.
It happened at Alston Market Place during the afternoon of October 10.
Police are appealing for information from the public to assist in identifying the two suspects and are seeking witnesses who may have been in the location during the afternoon.
