LEADING livestock auctioneers Harrison and Hetherington conducted an on-farm sale of Farm Machinery at Midtown Farm on behalf of the Bunting family of Dumfries.
At the sale, an amazing £3,824.25 was raised for ‘Sam’s Lab’ to help underprivileged children with new and upgraded software to ensure them a better education and the best start in life.
The charity heifer was sold twice for £1,600. Firstly to Grange Quarries Ltd, Lockerbie, who put it back up for sale, when it then went under the hammer and bought by K&R Foster Ltd. Added to this total were donations from other people, including a donation from H&H of £500.

The money from this heifer will be donated to ‘Sam’s Lab’ to help underprivileged children with new and upgraded software to ensure them a better education and the best start in life.
