A LOCAL country act is set to perform in Carlisle next month.
The Kerry Weir Country Band will perform at the Old Fire Station in Carlisle, on November 2.
The act is a festival headlining band and their latest show is described as 'a country musical journey from the Tennessee mountains to the cowboy bars in Georgia.'
A spokesperson from the Old Fire Station said: "After honing her craft in gritty northern pubs and clubs, forging a successful career as a solo singer, and becoming a presenter with her own show on country radio, Kerry has surrounded herself with a band of seasoned musicians to form the Kerry Weir Band.
"They have gone from strength to strength headlining various country festivals over the UK."
The band will be performing classic songs from the likes of Dolly Parton, Reba McIntyre, and contemporary artists like Ashley McBryde, Luke Combs, Maren Morris, and Carrie Underwood.
There will also be songs by Lainey Wilson, Taylor Swift, and Shania Twain.
