TV personality Helen Skelton has been spotted enjoying an immersive night-time performance at a County Durham Castle.
The north Cumbrian born star was an invited guest to a preview of The Glittering North at Raby Castle, Park and Gardens.
The show has been billed as a rare spectacle of live music, dance, and intriguing puppetry.
The performances celebrate the region's Norse and Viking heritage with colourful characters like Gullinburstin, a boar with golden bristles that illuminate the night, and Sleipnir, an enormous, brightly lit horse with eight legs.
Helen was joined at the event by her children and family.
Helen is a television presenter and actress. She co-presented BBC children's programme Blue Peter from 2008 until 2013 and since 2014 has been a presenter on Countryfile.
Among the other guests were TV personality former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt and her partner Scott Dobinson with their son Jude.
Tickets for The Glittering North can be booked for the following dates: October 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27, 30, 31 and November 1, 2, 3. Tickets cost £20 for adults and £13 for children.
