Cumbria Police intercepted a "boy racer" at Hartside Pass summit.
It followed after reports of anti-social driving in the area (October 13).
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "Another good example of the benefits of having neighbourhood officers patrolling in their remote rural areas".
