Police are investigating a case of 'dogs being dangerously out of control' after a young child was knocked to the ground.
The incident happened near Jack Trees play park, in Cleator Moor, on Sunday, September 22, at around 4.20pm.
It's been reported the young girl was knocked to the ground by five dogs, which were off their lead, breaking her glasses.
Another man has then suffered verbal abuse.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "Police are looking for any witnesses to this incident and anyone with information relating to this can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it quoting incident number 180 of 22/09/2024. You can also phone on 101.
"Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
