Farlam Hall is hosting a special Diwali weekend celebration.
The Times' 'Foodie Hotel of the Year' has assembled a full itinerary to mark the 'Festival of Lights', which begins on Thursday, October 31.
Guests will be treated to a buffet of traditional Indian food, made using Cumbrian products.
The buffet will feature regional street food of India, including classics such as Pani Puri, with some dishes prepared in front of the guests by a skilled team of chefs.
Chef Patron Hrishikesh Desai has curated a menu of Indian-inspired cuisine, which will be served throughout the weekend.
The Michelin-starred restaurant, The Cedar Tree, will be serving breakfast on Friday morning, with a choice of South Indian or continental delicacies.
Mr Desai said: "Our Diwali package at Farlam Hall is a one-of-a-kind celebration where we want to share a festival full of vibrant colours, lights, flavours, and traditions.
"Our three-day package brings Diwali to life on the premises of Farlam Hall through small ceremonies, storytelling of the event, and delicious food."
The weekend will begin with a welcome glass of spiced champagne and afternoon tea, followed by cocktails and canapés for the commencement of the Diya Lighting Ceremony.
The weekend will also include a stroll around the glacial lake and woodland at Talkin Tarn Country Park.
Packages for the weekend range from £2,290 per couple, per room, for three nights, up to £7,935 for a coach house suite for six.
All packages include aperitif champagne, arrival champagne, cocktails on the first evening, and paired wines on the final evening.
Farlam Hall is offering any guests wishing to extend their stay an exclusive 25 per cent discount on bed and breakfast rates when booked in advance.
