A Botchergate bar is on a mission to keep nights out in Carlisle 'affordable' and varied.

32 Bar on Carlisle's Botchergate is run by Mark Winter who took over the popular bar in March 2023.

Now, Mark is taking steps to enhance local nightlife whilst keeping it 'affordable' for Carlisle's clubbers.

This includes offering a jam-packed schedule of events at 32 Bar from Monday to Sunday, whilst also offering special prices on drinks until the end of October.

He said: "We have got something on seven days a week and we try and accommodate everybody.

"We have events coming up with the band 'Bad Actress' at Halloween and then I have got more coming up in November and December.

"I have got deals in place that make it so it is still affordable for people to go out and even without the deals we have got pints on from £2.30 and Vodka mixers at £4."

32 Bar has been joined in its quest to keep the Carlisle night-out affordable by other Botchergate establishments such as The Caledonian which also recently announced special prices on popular beverages throughout October

The city centre's nightlife has also been buoyed by the re-opening of The Cumberland Inn by new managers Kyle Cameron and Tanieth Whitehead alongside the impending arrival of Carlisle's newest club Alien, which had its premises licence granted in October.
