Since the premiere episode of ITV's Big Brother, Carlisle’s Thomas Atkinson emerged as one of the most popular to win this season.
20-year-old Thomas Atkinson, from Carlisle, entered the Big Brother UK house as part of the latest series of the popular reality television show.
The amputee football star had a key role in the England Amputee FA's fourth-placed finish at the European Amputee Football Federation Euro 2024 over the summer, something his grandad predicted long ago.

After the first live eviction last week, where we saw housemate Ryan Bradshaw sent packing, speculations for who will be this year's winner are already underway, but could Carlisle's Thomas Atkinson take home the crown?
The team at OLBG have revealed the latest predictions for the Big Brother 2024 winner, and housemate Lily Benson is the current favourite with a 13/5 chance of taking home the crown ahead of Baked Potato (Rosie Williams) at 11/4.
Big Brother favourites:
- Lily Benson 13/5 27.8%
- Rosie Williams (Baked Potato) 11/4 26.7%
- Ali Bromley 11/2 15.4%
- Thomas Atkinson 9/1 10.0%
- Nathan King 11/1 8.3%

Jake Ashton, Entertainment Betting Expert at OLBG has commented: “Lily Benson is now 13/5 to win Big Brother with bookies putting the Warrington-born 20-year-old at the top of the betting market to win the show!
"Benson is clear of any other contestant in the odds after the first week sees her sit at the top of the pile.”
Lily has been one of the loudest and most entertaining housemates on the show so far, and that has shown no signs of stopping, with the odds now suggesting that she will be crowned this year’s winner.
