A POPULAR holistic festival is set to return this weekend and will be raising money for Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland.

The Holistic Spiritual Health & Wellbeing Festival will take place at the George Hotel in Penrith this coming Saturday (October 19).

More than 20 exhibitors, as well as therapists and spiritual practitioners, will be offering a variety of spiritual and holistic products and services.

This year, the event is being organised by Sheila Thomas Energies.

The festival, which has been a staple in the local calendar for years, was previously organised by local businesswoman Lyndsay Wild, owner of BH Holistics in Penrith.

Under Lyndsay’s guidance, the event has grown in popularity.

Sheila Thomas steps forward to continue this legacy, having participated in numerous holistic events as a therapist herself.

“This festival is all about spreading love, good energy, and wellness while giving back to our local community," Sheila said.

"Whether you’re coming alone or with friends, you’ll leave with a heart full of love and a smile on your face.”

The first 20 attendees who donate to Hospice at Home upon arrival will receive exclusive free gift bags with a tombola also being held during the event.

The festival will run from 10am to 4pm.

Entry is free, with donations requested.
