A yellow weather warning has been issued for parts of Cumbria, with heavy rain potentially leading to disruption.
The Met Office have placed the warning from 12 noon until 11.59pm on Wednesday, October 16.
At the time of writing, it is anticipated to miss most of the western parts of the county, though will impact areas such as Barrow, Millom, Kendal, Penrith, and Carlisle.
The Met Office warned that spells of heavy rain on Wednesday afternoon and evening may lead to some travel disruption and flooding in places.
The worst affected areas could see 50-80mm of rain falling within around 6 hours, although 'a lot of places will probably see' closer to 20mm.
There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses.
Bus and train services will probably be affected, with journey times taking longer.
