Carlisle United fans are being encouraged to join in a tribute to eight-year-old Jay Cartmell at this weekend's game.
Moving tributes in the Cumbrian grassroots game have already been seen in memory of the boy who tragically died last month.
Blues supporters now plan to applaud in the eighth minute of Saturday's home game against Harrogate Town in tribute to Jay.
Jay, who played junior football for Whitehaven Miners Social, tragically died in a firearm incident near Warcop on September 28.
Junior and senior football teams across the county held a minute of applause ahead of their games last weekend, with photos and videos shared online under the hashtag #forever8.
Cumbrian leagues, in conjunction with the wishes of Whitehaven Miners Social, took part, while clubs playing in leagues outside the county will also take part in tributes before their next home games.

Clubs in the Carlisle City Sunday League, Carlisle Glass Longhorn Youth Football League, Cumberland County League, Penrith & District Junior Football League, West Cumberland Sunday League, West Cumbria Youth Football League, Westmorland Football League and Cumberland FA Andrea Buggy Women's League all joined in the county-wide tribute last weekend.
"Clubs and teams are encouraged to share pictures, videos and posts of them observing the minutes applause using #forever8," the Cumberland Football Association said.
"We want to fill social media with the collective condolences of the grassroots football community and in doing so show Jay's friends and family the true spirit of Cumbrian football."
Carlisle United have invited Jay's junior team-mates from Whitehaven Miners Social to the game.
The Blues are hoping for a boosted crowd at this weekend's game through a £10 ticket offer.
Visiting club Harrogate have also made their own fans aware of the planned tribute at the Brunton Park fixture.
