THREE roads are set to be 'assessed' flowing safety complaints to Carlisle Police.
Sycamore Lane, Hunters Crescent, and Garlands Roads will be the subject of an assessment by Cumberland Council following a meeting on Wednesday, October 16 that followed complaints regarding safety issues to police.
The assessment of the roads will take place over the coming weeks before local orders are applied for.
Writing on social media, Carlisle Police said: "Recently police received several complaints regarding road safety issues on Sycamore Lane, Hunters Crescent, and Garlands Road.
"Officers had put a temporary measure in place and have been working on a permanent solution.
"Today a meeting was held with Cumberland Council. Options were discussed and an assessment of the roads in the area will be conducted over the coming weeks before local orders are applied for.
"We will continue to update you once a decision has been made by the council regarding this matter.
