Keswick Mountain Rescue Team helped a ghyll scrambler who broke her ankle.
Members of Keswick MRT responded to a call on Thursday afternoon after a slip during a ghyll scramble at Stonycroft Beck, near Derwentwater, resulted in "a painful ankle break."
After strong pain relief was given to the person, their ankle was splinted and they were placed on a stretcher to be "hauled out of the ghyll."
They were then taken by ambulance to hospital.
The incident involved 15 members of Keswick MRT and took three hours to complete, North West Ambulance Service were also involved in the callout.
