Allerdale Police have urged motorists to avoid a Cumbrian road, with a number of vehicles stuck due to the heavy rain caused by Storm Ashley.
On social media, the police said: "Please avoid the B5301 between Allonby and Mawbray. Due to the current weather and high tides, we are receiving reports of vehicles stuck in flood water. The road is currently closed."
Storm Ashley has been wreaking havoc in Cumbria this weekend, bringing a number of flood alerts, heavy rain and high winds.
