Cumbria's critically-acclaimed mystery maestros Highly Suspect are set to host a Christmas performance at Tullie in Carlisle.
The one-of-a-kind immersive and interactive theatre experience which places the audience at the heart of a whodunnit, has proven extremely popular in Cumbria in recent years, and the Highly Suspect crew are fresh off the back of performing at the Edinburgh Fringe.
At Christmas, they will retell Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol, alongside an indulgent three-course meal.
Highly Suspect say: Step back to Christmas Day 1843, where the renowned businessman Sir Alan Scrooge is found dead in his parlour on a snow-covered morning. With a long list of suspects, you’d think the killer would be easy to identify. But why is there only one set of tracks in the snow? How did Scrooge meet his demise behind a locked door? And what’s Spiritualist Charlie Dickens doing lurking around?
"Could it be that Scrooge was killed by a ghost of Christmas past?
"Join us for a night filled with intrigue, frights, and fun as we retell this traditional tale in a uniquely Highly Suspect way."
Tickets for the event on December 20 cost £55 and are available to buy on the Tullie website.
