THE Carlisle museum Tullie has announced this year's Christmas event.
There will be various activities for children and their families to enjoy over the festive period.
In a post on social media, Tullie wrote: "Is that the sound of sleigh bells? Mr and Mrs Claus have parked up on the Rotunda and, with the help of the resident Tullie elves, have a whole weekend of festive fun planned.
"Our Christmas at the Museum weekends are always super popular."
There will be a Santa's Grotto, a Santa letter-writing activity, a festive garden hunt, Christmas crafts, a museum elf trail, and vouchers available for the shop and cafe.
They added: "Children’s tickets are priced at £18. Children under 1 year old go free but won’t receive a present from Santa. Adults do not need a ticket to accompany children to Santa’s grotto.
"Please book a time slot on your chosen day to visit Mr and Mrs Claus and take part in our festive activities. Activities within the museum (elf trail, crafts, and garden hunt) can be done in your own time."
