Cumberland Council and Stagecoach have announced new bus timetables for routes across the region.
From Monday November 4, communities in north and west Cumbria will have better access to public transport through increased services and the introduction of new routes. These routes are:

Route 60 between Silloth and Maryport will be reintroduced.

Route 64 between Rockcliffe and Durdar will be restored and improved.

Route 300 between Workington and Carlisle will run every 30 minutes.

Route 30 between Egremont / Frizington and Maryport – Sunday will run every 30 minutes

Route M1: Millom Town Service – including Haverigg will be reintroduced to create a more interconnected community.

Route 22 between Cleator Moor - Cleator – Whitehaven Hospital will provide dependable transport to essential services, with a special focus on accommodating passengers with mobility needs.

Route 217: Lamplugh, Arlecdon and Frizington and Dean Parish Councils so that the Frizington - Lamplugh - Dean – Cockermouth: have also been extended until March 2025, with additional funding supplied by Cumberland Council.
Councillor Denise Rollo, executive member for sustainable, resilient and connected places, said: "We are thrilled to announce these new bus routes. Working closely with Stagecoach, local members, and community stakeholders, we have crafted strategies to revitalise and expand bus services."
