Eden Police officers have arrested two people following a report of shoplifting from B&M Bargains in Penrith.
The two men had entered the shop and stole various items before leaving in a black Fiat 500 which two officers - Nicholson and Adams - followed.
Despite being 20 minutes behind, they caught the car heading for the Durham Border travelling on the A66.
The two men ran towards the fells which led to the rural crime team deploying a drone to support Eden Police in finding and arresting one, the other was arrested in a sheep pen.
