A designer outlet has announced a 'spooktacular' Halloween event for families.
Caledonia Park Designer Outlet in Gretna will celebrate Halloween on October 31 by offering families a 'safe and exciting' trick-or-treating experience.
The 'Spooktacular Halloween Trail' will run from 4pm to 6pm, providing a 'bewitching adventure' for children and adults alike.
Visitors are invited to collect trail sheets from the guest information hub before embarking on a 'haunted' trick-or-treat trail through the outlet.
The challenge is to spot 12 'spooky ghosts' hidden in store windows.
Upon completion of the trail, brave participants can return to the hub to claim their well-deserved sweet treats.
The event encourages attendees to don their Halloween outfits, with the centre declaring that 'the spookier the better' when it comes to costumes.
The outlet is also hosting a pumpkin decorating contest among its stores, and visitors are urged to keep an eye out for them and vote for their favourite via the website.
Centre director Scott Wells said: "Our Spooktacular Halloween Trail offers a safe environment for local families to enjoy the spirit of Halloween, and we can't wait to see the spooky costumes at the centre.
"I’d also like to congratulate our brand partners on their fantastic pumpkin decorating skills.
" From ET to Frankenstein, we have been amazed by the creativity of their designs and look forward to announcing the winning store in November.”
