A train simulator is adding the West Coast Main Line route through Cumbria to its offering.
Train Sim World 5, developed by Dovetail Games and Just Trains, will introduce the Preston to Carlisle route as an add-on to the current game on November 21.
This marks the longest UK route in the simulator, featuring close to 100 miles of track.
The game will also introduce the Class 87 electric locomotive to the British fleet for the first time.
The game also offers players specific scenarios to the region as part of the add-on.
In the 'Broken Down' scenario, players start at Kingmoor Depot to rescue a failed express train at Penrith.
In the 'Tap Changer' scenario, players haul a passenger service between Preston and Carlisle on a snowy day, making stops at Lancaster, Oxenholme, and Penrith before reaching Carlisle.
"No doubt a few snow flurries will occur along the way so be extra vigilant with the braking as you call at Lancaster, Oxenholme and Penrith before the final stop of Carlisle," the description reads.
The 'Currock Collection' scenario involves conveying a mix of steel wagons and container flats to the works at Kingmoor.
Train Sim World 5 can be downloaded for free on all platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, via the free starter pack.
Players can, from 21st November, purchase the West Coast Mainline content separately for £32.99.
