CARLISLE's Bookends has launched its annual Christmas children's book bank.
The bookshop on Castle Street is collecting new books and toys for charities in the area with hopes of bringing joy to disadvantaged children this Christmas.
Donations can be made in-store until December 15.
All contributions will be distributed to the Carlisle Foodbank, North Lakes Food Banks in Cumbria, Salvation Army, and Jigsaw Children's Hospice.
