PLANS to build 6 homes in Carlisle's Denton Holme area have been put forward to Cumberland Council.
The application, for land between 24-36 Collingwood Street, has been put forward by McKnight and Son Builders to planners on October 25.
The six two-bedroom terraced style homes “are proposed to replace the existing void space which was previously a commercial/industrial unit that has been demolished”, the report states.
12 car parking spaces are included among the proposals.
The properties on each side of the plans are residential.
Northern Gas Networks has expressed no objections but stated that any existing apparatus might be at risk during construction, urging the developer to engage with them directly if plans are approved.
A new foul network system is also proposed around the site.
