A CYCLIST was taken to hospital with 'minor' injuries following a collision in Carlisle yesterday (Tuesday, October 29).
The collision between a van and a push bike on the junction of Stanhope Road and Dalston Road was reported to Cumbria Police at 5.31pm.
The police and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) attended the scene with the cyclist being taken to hospital as a 'precaution'.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "A road traffic collision between a van and a push bike, on the junction of Stanhope Road/Dalston Road, Carlisle, report came in at 5.31pm.
"NWAS and police attended the scene and the cyclist sustained only minor injuries however he was taken to hospital as a precaution."
