CARLISLE's Emily Trotter is set to represent Great Britain at the Loule Cup in Portugal.
15-year-old Emily, who is a member of Carlisle Trampoline Club, will represent Great Britain at the 17th edition of the Loule Cup which will take place between Thursday, October 31, and Saturday, November 2 in Portugal.
Emily will be competing in the trampoline junior female event at the junior competition a matter of weeks after winning the Chris Forsham Trophy at the English Trampoline and Double Mini Tramp Championships in October.
This year the Loule Cup will have approximately 600 gymnasts from 19 countries, including Portugal, France, Greece, Estonia, Great Britain, Canada, Czechia, Argentina, Belgium, and USA.
Ahead of the competition, Emily's coach Kim Trotter said: "As a club we are very proud of Emily's achievements throughout the year, it is amazing to see her achieve her goals and enjoy her sporting journey.
"The dedication and commitment she shows to our sport is outstanding."
"She not only trains as an athlete, she is one of our assistant coaches and passes on her knowledge to the beginner gymnasts in the recreational sessions at Yewdale Community Centre.
"She also helps officiate at regional competitions as a valued volunteer, overall she is a great role model for our sport.
"We can't wait to watch her compete in Portugal and do herself and our club proud."
